The city of Mexico has been chosen to carry out the second edition of this meeting of intense cultural and artistic exchange.

 

With the National Arts Centre, National Institute of Fine Arts as base we had as participants 18 dancers from 10 countries around the world (New Zealand, USA, Australia, Spain, Japan, Canada, France, Honduras, Italy, Mexico) who have previously worked with Iratxe and 12 Mexican dancers selected through an audition for dancers linked to CENART together form part of the training in this creative process and artistic residency that took place from August 17 to 06 September in different rehearsal rooms and outdoor spaces of the CNART, was also involved the participation of various local and international visual artists to carry out a documentary record in order to exploit the potential of this great event.

 

At the end of the three-week intensive course, the period ended with the presentation on 6 September in a show created by Iratxe with this group of dancers specifically for the occasion, within the program that conforms, Iratxe also presented her last show as a dancer and choreographer: "Uno senza Due", premier was July 2015 at Beijijng Dance Festival.

 

The same day of the presentation in the hall of the theatre a photo exhibition by photographer David Flores about Metamorphosis Residency Summer Course was presented.
