Intensive contemporary dance course given by the Spanish dancer and choreographer Iratxe Ansa, focused on generating a process of exploration of movement and choreography, using a personal methodology built from the artistic experience of the choreographer, supported by an impeccable international career.

 

Within this process the participants from different nationalities are provided by a specific improvisation procedure addressing the latest international trends in contemporary dance, all in order to result in a final creation, artistically coordinated by Iratxe Ansa.

 

This process raised as an artist residency, aims to:

 

• Working intensively with Iratxe Ansa.

 

• Conduct a choreography by Iratxe Ansa.

 

• Present the results to the public in various conventional and unconventional spaces.

 

• Generate links between international artists.

 

• Produce dance related works in collaborations with local artists.

 

• Expand existing concerning in contemporary art in the world and develop the artistic potential of each participant.

 

• Motivating the institutional environment to grow the possibilities of promoting research and artistic exploration through such international meetings.
