Iratxe Ansa works for much of the world and spontaneously is creating a very interesting artists circuit.

 

The Metamorphosis Summer Course Residency was initially driven by the willingness of several international dancers to work intensively with Iratxe, last year 2014 edition have been very successfully. It has been the first edition of this event. It was in Beijing Art Center in Peking, China bringing together seven dancers from Sydney, Barcelona, ​​San Francisco, New York in Beijing China to work intensively with Iratxe.

 

On that occasion Iratxe apart from teaching the course, spontaneously introduced the international dancers in several companies with which it usually works as Leidong Dance Company run by Willy Tsao and a project with dancers from there working in Europe with Sidi Larbi in Belgium or Rote Fabric in Zurich.

 

In this way  the international dancers and local artists could meet, generating several improvisational events in unconventional spaces, company visits and execution of works of video dance.

 

This process culminated in a show that was staged at the Theatre of Beijing Normal University.
